Hi, I’m Dr. Michael Trudeau
I’m a full-time endodontist, and The Endo Fix is where I share the cases that shaped how I practice. The Endo Fix is the blog of my practice, Trudeau & Domark Endodontics in Suffolk, Virginia, where we care for patients across the Hampton Roads area.
My path to endodontics:
- Degree in molecular biology, Colgate University
- DDS with OKU honors, University of the Pacific Dental School, San Francisco
- Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), U.S. Navy, then staff dentist at Parris Island, SC
- General dentistry in private practice in South Carolina
- Certificate in endodontics, IB Bender Division of Endodontics, Albert Einstein Hospital, where I served as chief resident
- Member, International Academy of Endodontics (IAE)
Our mission
We are really passionate about rehabilitating teeth with restorative endodontics. The goal is to share our idea of quality endodontics, seen through our lens, with a pile of real cases. That means radiographs, clinical photos, and long-term recalls, plus honest notes on what worked, what didn’t, and why.
Who it’s for
The Endo Fix is written mainly for general dentists, endodontists, and residents who want to save compromised teeth and see how cases hold up over the years. Patients are welcome too. These cases show what can sometimes be done for a tooth that seems hopeless. The site is for education only, though, and isn’t a substitute for an exam by your own dentist.
What you’ll find
- Daily Fix: short, case-based posts covering one tooth and one lesson, often with a recall.
- Deep Fix: longer looks at a topic or a tricky case, such as resorption classification.
- Tips, Tricks & Fixes: practical chairside techniques, plus the Weekly Fix series.
